Minutes for Music Boosters Meeting

Attendees:Yvonne Spencer, Barbara Zellers, Cindy McMinn, Susan Nabor, Amy Buras, Kim McCullagh, Debbie Manfredi, Laura Hanlon, Holly Mullen

Budget: The budget was accepted as presented.

Fundraiser Update: Susan Nabors reported that the Yankee candle orders would be in before Thanksgiving. She will try to work on distributing on an evening when there is marching band practice. Volunteers are needed to assist with distribution.

Kim McCullagh checked with Randy Anderson about the availability of the Music Café as the site of the Music Marathon to be held 19 and 20 February. Randy supported the idea. The café will keep proceeds from the selling of refreshments and the Boosters will keep monies raised from sponsorships, with a portion kept for students as trip money for next year. Randy asked if students will be able to provide their own equipment.

Class Report: The play-off schedule is 12 November, 19 November, 26 November, and 2 December. Marching band practice is to be held, as needed, on 11 November, 18 November, 22 November, and 1 December.

Website Update: The website is up to date. No new pictures will be added until permission to use them is obtained by Charlie. A full version of Acrobat is being looked for so that students can access printed music from the site. Cindy will send an e-mail when the website is up and going.
