Yankee Candle Update: Sue Nabors reported that all candles had been distributed. No orders had come in broken, although some missing items continue to be investigated.
Band Reports: Band uniforms are still in production. Upcoming concerts are on 14 and 15 December. Damascus candy-filled megaphones and water will be sold as a fundraiser. The elementary tour is scheduled for 23 December.
Website update: The permission to put pictures on the website is still being sought. Garrett Smith suggested that pictures be downloaded from his Flicker account. If concerns over permission persist, Garrett suggested that he could retouch photos to blur faces. The legality of posting pictures requires further review.
Music marathon update: The date for 19 and 20 February has been confirmed with the Music Café. It was concluded that the marathon should run from 12:00 noon on Saturday until 2:00 or 2:30 on Sunday afternoon. There will be no outside food allowed at Music Café. 50/50 and basket raffles will be held. Ticket admission will be $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students. Children under the age of five will be free.
Other: We will look into the feasibility of selling caps with embroidered hornets on them. Debbie Manfredi shared a sample scarf that could be made to sell at the Band Stand next fall. We will not be selling anything at the upcoming Shopping Frenzy held at DHS.
Next meeting: 6 January 2011
