Minutes for Music Boosters Meeting

Attendees: Amy Buras, Jim Buras, Yvonne Spencer, Nancy Hughes, Holly Mullen, Laura Hanlon, Debbie Manfredi, Cindy McMinn, Ken Koeritzer, Garrett Smith, Lynn Lemont
Budget: The budget was accepted as presented by Yvonne.
Uniform Update: The new racks will be completed this summer by Emmit McMinn. The wood has been donated, and more materials may yet be donated. 81 kids have been measured. Help with measuring the remaining students will be needed during band camp. The uniform room has been cleaned-out.
Class Reports: Vocal - A new teacher, Brian Isaac, has been hired to replace Mrs. Barry. He will be assisting during band camp.
Band - The field and stadium have been reserved for the 24 September Band Show. We will need to pay for building services and security that day. We will have use of the Athletic Booster concession stand.We anticipate the participation of 5 or 6 bands besides DHS. Each band will have 20 minutes to perform. An admission price of $5 for adults and $3 for students will be collected. Charlie will check with Middletown HS on the amount that should be asked for as an entrance fee. The entrance fee will cover the cost of a picture taken of each band from the press box. There will be no raindate set. The selling of t~shirts will be looked into.
